The search for the best custom Harley-Davidson in Australia and New Zealand

This year, we’re looking for the king of custom across Australia and New Zealand! Entrants will be split into multiple categories – Cruiser, Touring and Vintage. If you own a customised Harley-Davidson, we want to see your bike!

We’ll be awarding 3 category winners, all decided by public vote. The category winners will then face off against each other in the finale, decided by our esteemed judging panel.

The Panel

Public vote will determine the 4 category winners. Of the three category winners, our esteemed judging panel will deliberate and decide the overall winner of Number One.

Biography

Mick Withers, editor and publisher of HEAVY DUTY Magazine. Happily claiming 2022 as his 40th year on two wheels, Mick is a qualified motorcycle mechanic who has ridden, raced, repaired and built everything from two-stroke 250s to Top Fuel Harleys. The year 1989 was Mick’s first as a Harley owner, and also the year he entered motorcycle magazine publishing. Since then, Mick has edited multiple titles culminating in the ownership of HEAVY DUTY Magazine. He now owns a self-built custom M8 Super Glide, and a Road King™ Special for longer rides.

Biography

Miles ‘Pugs’ Rangeley has been immersed in the custom motorcycle scene for over three decades now with his involvement with Live to Ride, one of Australia’s premier motorcycle media companies. Through his role at Live to Ride, Pugs has interviewed many of the biggest names in custom motorcycling and has helped showcase some of the most innovative and artistic custom bike builds from around the world. He is considered a legend in the Australian motorcycle community and is known for his extensive knowledge and passion for all things custom and for helping grow interest in the scene over his long career.
